Here's another useful link: the Lubbock Central Appraisal District website, which permits reverse-lookups to determine the owner-of-record of any specific address. Useful in the event of noise or neighborliness issues:

Seems to be down at the moment (1 Sep 07 11:00am CDT) but it's been a life-saver in the past.
